Do you have a skill you’d love to share — like cake decorating, woodwork, a language, tech tips — but don’t feel confident planning out a course or teaching a group? Training Essentials is the perfect place to start!

This practical, hands-on course will help you:

• Plan and run fun, informative and engaging workshops or classes
• Build confidence speaking in front of a group
• Learn simple ways to support learners with different needs
• Create a welcoming and inclusive space for everyone

You don’t need teaching experience — just the enthusiasm to share what you know. By the end, you will have the tools and confidence to turn your passion into a course or workshop.

It’s also a great stepping stone if you’re curious about pathways into community education or training and assessment.

Fees
Funded Full Fee - $120
Funded Concession Fee - $60*

This course is delivered with the assistance of Adult, Community and Further Education (Learn Local) funding. Eligibility criteria apply.
