Celebrate the beauty of spring through art in this inspiring short course, focusing on classic spring bulbs including English Snowdrops (Galanthus), Spanish Bluebells (Hyacinthoides hispanica), and Grape Hyacinths (Muscari).
Across four weekly sessions, participants will produce detailed botanical sketches, exploring the unique structures of leaves and flowers from interesting angles. Whether you're drawn to the precision of graphite, the softness of coloured pencil, or the vibrancy of watercolour, you’ll be guided to develop your personal style while working in your medium of choice.
With artist and tutor Miffy Gilbert’s support, you'll explore composition techniques, drawing fundamentals, and colour theory in a friendly and encouraging environment.
This course is ideal for students with an ongoing beginner to intermediate level in drawing, and a beginner level for coloured pencil work.
