Bring your ideas to life by learning practical video editing skills! This course is tailored to students with little to no experience editing video. Learn fundamental techniques such as:
- Cutting clips
- Adding transitions, music, text, and effects
- How to create different types of videos, including instructional content, personal stories, and montages
- Explore sequencing, continuity, and fundamental shots—wide, medium, and close-up
- Practice importing clips and images, creating short videos
Export your finished projects to share on social media and other platforms—for work, marketing, or with family and friends.
Ideal for anyone looking to create engaging videos for social media, personal use, or business.
Students are assumed to have a basic-to-intermediate level of digital literacy being able to navigate and use the Windows or Mac operating system, open apps, navigate the file system to save documents/projects, and understand using a mouse and keyboard for interaction.
