Our Centre has a wonderful reputation for the study of Natural History Art.
David is an award-winning Australian watercolour artist and tutor with Nature in Art at Park Orchards.
He specialises in Australian flora and fauna, exotic plants and wildlife. He has botanical artwork represented in the Victorian State Botanical Collection of the Royal Botanic Gardens, and in private collections in Australia and overseas.
He describes his style as ‘Accurate Realism’ and is always looking to portray his botanical and wildlife subjects with the most accurate detail possible yet doing it in a ‘painterly’ way honouring the watercolour medium. David enjoys teaching botanical, natural history and wildlife art.
