This workshop with Peta McDonald will introduce you to creating simple miniature landscapes.
You will learn techniques to quickly sketch meaningful locations, whether it’s a favourite lookout, a hidden walking trail, or a quiet corner of your garden.
Through guided activities, you will explore how to work at a tiny scale, simplify a scene, and focus on the features that make a place unique. You will create your own miniature landscape bookmarks or postcards using pen and watercolour and will leave with a pocketful of ideas to help you capture the places you love, wherever you go.
Suitable for artists of all levels.
This workshop requires students to bring some of their own equipment. A materials list will be provided upon enrolment.
