Get fit and feel good!
Nia dance is a holistic movement concept that offers a unique blend of nine different movement forms and is inspired by elements from the dance arts (Jazz, Modern Dance, Duncan Dance), martial arts (Tai Chi, Tae Kwon Do, Aikido) and the healing arts (Yoga, The Alexander Technique, the work of Moshe Feldenkrais). The idea is for the participant to feel and experience as many ways of moving as possible. The sessions incorporate set choreographies and short free dance segments, allowing the body to move in fun and free ways.
Whether you are looking to get fit, strengthen your body, feel good or cultivate awareness, Nia is the practice for you. Most of all, Nia is always about the joy of movement. The result is increased well-being and vitality.
Nia is suitable for any age, no experience required.
Please bring water bottle and yoga mat.
